*Disclaimer: This post doesn’t relate to physical blindness.
The only reason people choose to remain blind is due to a lack of courage, and that is directed to all areas.
Ones ability to see the truth in any situation is due to a conscious, subconscious or unconscious fear.
People want the truth yet they are petrified by it.
Most people feel that there is more to life, that there is a greater plan, that they are more than what they have been told, most importantly that they are special.
At some point in our lives, we shove this idea so far down our consciousness because of the pain it inflicts upon us, a pain caused by a system that is constantly telling us we are unworthy.
People are afraid of the truth, afraid that they may burn in hell for seeking it, afraid of being disowned by families, of losing the respect of loved ones.
People are afraid to seek truth because they know the truth will shake up and change their lives and people are also afraid of change and discomfort.
The truth is though that nothing worthy comes easily and beautiful things come with the price of challenge and discomfort.
It comes with the price of most likely leaving the job you hate to find what you love, it may come with the price of being shunned by a religious group, culture, family, friends, and the truth may even bring you very close to death.
The truth is meant only for someone who is ready to be brave.
So the question still stands, are you brave enough to seek the truth or are you ok with being blind?
