I can’t remember the last time I spent this much time at home.
I’ve been busy, I been kept busy and I’ve been keeping myself busy but in all this ‘busyness’ this is is the most time I have had to really sit and think.
I have come to realise in this time; that this is only a season. It may not seem like it but to everything, there is a season.
Too often we fail to understand this principle that we are in a season right now, and that there is a purpose for this time in our lives.
If we don’t recognise the season we’re in, we’re bound to miss the purpose it is meant to serve as well as miss how it should be preparing us for the next season of our lives.
So as the world continues in this uncertainty, it brings me joy that canvases that sat collecting dust for the past five years are finally being stretched. Books are being written and inventions are falling into little heads everywhere because there is nothing better to do with this time, than to be useful and I cant think of a more beautiful way to pull ourselves together. I don’t think there’s a more human way to survive.
Sure, we would love for every season to be a time of increase and productivitiy; but without the other seasons, we wouldn’t be prepared. It’s during the plowing seasons that God brings issues to light that we need to deal with.
Just some food for thought, whilst you’re thinking anyway.
