I hate writing about Religion. Religion divides people rather than unite people, which is something that seriously bothers me!
I have never wrote about religion because a) Religion is boring and b) It is controversial, in that everyone has their own viewpoints.
People want more out of life than knowing what God thinks about fear or failure. They want to fulfil their dreams and their passions, not just survive in the drudgery of life.
I have no agenda. I am not pushing any product, or Christianity, or God, or anything.
But I just want to light up the facts about topics which I know people consistently think about on their path to happiness. Then you can decide.
So maybe every Sunday I’m going to write a little about Religion if you think this is a good idea.
Bad things happen to all of us at any one time or another. Anyone who had senses, who breathes, touches, feels, smells, tastes, has had to endure something difficult, something trying, something so awful that it seems to have the ability to snuff out life itself. As we walk out path and seek to fulfill our purpose, we will inevitably have disappointments that knock us down. The way you handle adversities has a huge impact on your success in life? If you shrink back, choose to get bitter and lose your enthusiasm, then you are allowing the difficulties of life to bury you. You are allowing hardship to keep you from your God-given destiny. But if you choose to keep pressing forward with a smile on your face, rejoicing even in the hard times, you are allowing God’s character to be developed inside of you. You are setting yourself up for promotion.
Think about this: the only difference between a piece of black coal and a priceless diamond is the amount of pressure that it’s endured. When you stand strong in the midst of the trials and difficulties in life, when you allow God to shape and mould your character, it’s like going from a piece of coal to a priceless diamond. Those difficulties are going to give way to new growth, new potential, new talent, new friendships, new opportunities, new vision. You’re going to see your life blossom in ways that you’ve never even dreamed!
So the key take away of today’s Scripture Sunday’s is to stand strong in adversity! When you are going through difficult times, remember: you may have lost some major battles, but you survived and you’re still here. That is a victory. Show your happiness and celebrate your ability to go forward.
Would love to hear in the comments section of times where you might have faced adversities but have had the strength to overcome ❤️
Next Sunday (if you want this series): Coming Out Of Your Comfort Zone.
Happy Scripture Sunday. X
